Our travels for inspiration and connection took my daughter Kyla and I to Paris, France to watch the 2024 Olympics and hang out with our very special friend, Heather Petri, 4x Olympian (Water Polo, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012). What an incredible discovery of culture, food, and the power of human connection. There is so much to share, and I plan to journal it all. I will start off with the most important thing...the food! We enjoyed croissants and pan au chocolate every morning for breakfast and walked 10-20 miles a day...the French way of life is sweet. For those who love to move and those who love to eat, Paris is your destination to enjoy it all. We discovered our favorite place to eat, Le Petit Cler, in the 7th Arr. by chance when we arrived late into Paris for the night of the Opening Ceremonies. Wow, what a treat. I had no reactions to the food, because it was unprocessed, fresh, and fantastic! Those with sensitivities to food in the U.S., there is something to be shared about what is in our food and how we choose to eat! More to come...
